About: Lara is currently completing her Honours Bachelor of Science in Behavioural Neuroscience at UBC, and is excited to be conducting her undergraduate thesis at the SWELL Lab. She is interested in fields intersecting psychology, neuroscience, endocrinology, and women’s health. Lara aspires to investigate historically understudied topics in psychiatric and medical research, such as sex differences and sexuality, birth control, pregnancy/postpartum periods, nutrition, and hormone imbalance.
